One of my December 2024 Projects. The Chow Fun Cowl by Fibernoodles in Baah Shasta or Mammoth Yarn of the Month December 2024 - Maybe someone could assist me with how to do the bind off? I would make it again to get it right.

I am sitting here at home just past midnight knitting the Chow Fun Cowl using Worsted Baah Shasta yarn in the Color of the Month for this month.  It is a soft, easy to knit with yarn in deep reds and beautiful browns.  The color combination is coming out looking so festive and cheerful with a heat to it.  We still have a couple of skeins of the December 2024 Baah Color of the month in Shasta, La Jolla, and Mammoth.  The pattern gives instruction for the Worsted Shasta and the Super Bulky Mammoth.  If you would like the pattern, let me know.  I would be happy to share it with you along with your purchase of any yarn.

A week later now.  

***I just wore the cowl for the first time.  I had to bind it off without using the pattern’s instructions.  I don’t understand them.  I looked on the internet for how to do it but the internet did not know what the abbreviations meant.  I ended up doing a bind off called a Russian Bind Off.  I enjoyed wearing it tonight but it rolled downward on my neck as I wore it so the pattern could not be seen.  I have to figure out what I did wrong.  Anyone have any thoughts, please let me know.
