The Lilac Trail Vest - It is what some from the knitting group and I are working on now. An Elizabeth Smith Knits Pattern.

This vest has been such a pleasant knitting experience.  It has not been boring and yet it has been simple.  There are 3 small lace panels that are so easy to do, once you’ve done them once, you can watch TV or Socialize and still make it.

Now that I am getting to the part near the neck, everything is getting more specific meaning there are line by line instructions so I am not going to bring this out to knit anymore until the finishing part.  I think I may need some help with the picking up of the stitches along the front sides.  Who knows, maybe I will just try to do it  myself to get it done.  I really love the way it is coming out.  I am looking forward to wearing it.

If you would like to make this too, I would be happy to send you the pattern.  I used Cascade 220 Superwash Merino in color 91.  I think they call it Olive.  The perfect color for this garment.  I have so much of this color, I was hoping that the project would need more yarn than it does.  :-)
